Winter Reminders
KHI Maintenance has contracted a vendor to perform snow plowing/removal and salt spreading for the upcoming winter. A snow event is when at least 3cm of snow has fallen within an 8 hour time frame, when a snow event or freezing rain occurs the vendor is required to ensure the parking lots and walk ways are cleared and safe for use.
Below are some points for residents to do their part during the winter months
- Residents are responsible for salting their front porch or stoop only, any common area shared pathway is the responsibility of the vendor.
- Residents may be asked to move their vehicles periodically to ensure snow is cleared and/or removed.
- A service issues with snow removal or salting should be sent to the KHI Maintenance mailbox on the website or called to 519-744-6655 ext 8202.
